Back to school

My weekend was tissues, coughing and YouTube. I was off two days extra from school.I reemerged Tuesday and at first break all of my friends came to ask where I was.I replied softly “sick at home.” I was one of the best football players in school, there was no way I was going to sit out from the game,  even though I was  unwell ! So we played football. I got hit in the chest with my friend Calvin’s shot and may I just say “OUCH!”( Fun fact, Calvin has one of the strongest shooters in school). I was gasping for breath, I stood taller, my shoulders slouched and simultaneously my arm went numb. I tried not to show the pain, but it was hard. My friends Ahmad,Simon,Arsalan and Fared came to check on me. I was fine, I was glad that  happened, because break time was just not what it used to be. Sure I loved football but I missed the action of Infection as well as 40 40. The time had come for the whistle to blow, everyone raced in and out of the lunch tent as if Zombies were chasing them. I thought lunch time was going to be extraordinary because I was back from being sick so we were all reunited.lunch time turned out to be a big bummer in my opinion. I wound up siting down and eating my lunch. The minutes went by like years. So that when the whistle blew, I ran as fast as Bolt.

It was the moment all the boys in my class were waiting for, swimming! My heart was pounding. For ten seconds every thing seemed like it was in slow-motion.Not long after my friend Ahmad asked me ” Are you swimming?” I realized I could not swim. I was too sick to swim. That was devastating. Not swimming meant sitting there in silence. Luckily on the way to the pool my Arabic teacher came up the stairs, carrying heavy objects.I saw an opportunity to both help and waste time, I’m pretty sure Ahmad wanted to help as well. We walked towards her eagerly and asked”May we please help you” in Arabic. She agreed without hesitation, we opened doors and delivered tests sheets to the head of the department of Arabic. We set off once more. Unexpectedly we came just at the right time  to find Emirhan and Simon not swimming.  Emirhan was sick and Simon’s nanny had forgotten to pack his swimming shorts. Mrs.West (our swimming teacher) sent all of us to watch the girls P.E., which sounded boring but at least we got to run there. The 30 minutes of watching girls P.E. was 30 minutes I couldn’t get back, boy that was boring.

Mr.Lyon said I could not do P.E. because we were both sick (me and Emirhan), we were in for another old extremely boring lesson, Some how Emirhan got to play. I’m not one to argue with the teacher, so I didn’t say a word. After the two boy year six classes were done doing the overwhelming bleep test, I finally got to play doge ball with the rest. It was the most intense doge ball match I ever had. A few minutes later I went home.

My weekend

My weekend began right after I finished school, I immediately came home and ate. Then went to a club called Dana club ( same name as my sister.) I played football with my friends Anas, Ali, Ahmed and Malak. It was so extreme and intense. We played until we couldn’t play any more. After that we took a break, we played with our iPhones. My friend Anas like to play violent games on the PS4 or on any other of his gadgets.

Friday was the best day of this weekend, me and my brother went to Iare’s play day. But we later on found out, it was a farewell play day for his friend, who was also there he went by the name Jack. Without a moment to waste we quickly ran up to Go Karting and started playing. In the third lap I was turning a turn but a guy was in front of me, I was about to crash into the side of the turn. But I grabbed the steering wheel as hard as possible and turned, simultaneously smashing the break which almost caused the Go Kart to crash. 10 laps later… we finished, later on we went to his house. We played the try not to laugh challenge on YouTube while eating, then watched everybody do the flop one  through  fourteen not long after we finished, my little bro and I went home exhausted, straight to bed.

Saturday was probably the worst day of this weekend, I woke up and raced down stairs to look for my little bro. Only to find him at swimming and then I finally thought something good had happened only to find it cause a enormous fight between my parents. This is how it  began, so I was siting around watching YouTube and then my sister woke up she asked if she could finally go to buy her well needed running shoes, Mum replied “yes” so instead of being  alone at home I ask if could go with, Mum said “yes”. Of course I knew my sister would suggest to take my cousin  Karima so we went to her house on the way. I thought if we are going to get Karima we should also get her brother Mohamed. When we arrived I asked if we could bring Mohamed with us but he had a teacher coming over and my other cousin Ahmed  Ibrahim was there so instead of bringing him with us I thought I would stay with them. We played until his teacher came when she did Ahmed Ibrahim and I waited for him to finish one hour later… he finished we played a little  and then I went home ( here comes the big fight) and a few moments later my Dad came ( my Dad does not like our cousins) so when we told him he immediately went up stairs and started shouting at my Mum. After that we went to the dentist. It was extremely fun! We came back all smiling as if we just got our  drivers license. My Mum’s friend Eris was already there when we had arrived, the rest of my day was homework. I was about to add the finishing touches on my writing and publish it, my iPad ran out of charge.

My life at school

If there is one thing I could tell anyone about year six is that it is a game changer. My whole life has been so easy, in year one I had the best time of my life.Me , Adam, Mohamed and Hugo were three cool kids in school , at least I thought so. Just as I thought it could not get any better Moh G came. Here’s the thing Moh G came down from year two so in a way Moh G is older than all of us.

Year two was cool, not much happened in year two but at the first day in year two, the second I came home I found my Mum standing there outside the door she said to me, “How was the first day at school?” Here’s the thing: Mum does not like Adam at all.So when I replyed, “It was fine” she immediately said “is Adam in your class?” I was all like “yes of course” she said

“Ok cool” in a sappy voice.

Year three was so cool! We had a new teacher named Mrs. Charles. She was so incredibly kind and thoughtful. One day we had to make our own sandwiches, one of my friends brought in spicy chilis, Adam and I had a challenge who can eat the most chili seeds, we both tied 24 to 24 and in the end Adam and I had red noses and mouths.

Year four was the worst year of my life. Only two reasons: one my parents put me in a different class than Adam, Moh G, Mohamed and Nichola, secondly I had a teacher that was so mean , she would always pull, push, and grab me and my friends. She had anger management issues, but I did meet Simon and Arsalan. Simon had just came to compass Garhaffa, Arsalan on the other hand was following me around in Dana club from years one till three, creepy I know, but we became best friends.

Year five was the best ,just the best,I was in the same class with Adam. Our teacher was so kind, unbelievably kind. I got to go to a trip to the desert with my friends and we slept there with our school, I was one of the extremely lucky students that got to go to a trip with other compasses to Spain! It was super cool ,but my friends parents did not let them go. So I had to make some new friends there , I counted seven new friends in one week.
